From the last blog:

Vesey has been very good. I see no reason why Hunt would make the team over him at this point.

He has been more than you could ask for. He is exactly what the team needs in the bottom 6.

Jan, just one thing of note. I believe Lafreniere was hit towards the end of the third (not second) and did not see the ice again.

thought krav's looked ok - 100% agree w/ your take jan, i'd like to see him plying w/ a line mroe suited to his style of play.

just never ask him to play defense lol he looked like he's never skated backwards trying to cover for fox on the OT 2on1.

Yeah, the team might see that one again, in a "what not to do" training video!

Thought he showed a few flashes of high skill level. He’s very shifty but takes a lot of risks. He definitely looks a little lost at times, but hopefully another game or 2 and he will be more comfortable. Assuming he’s a lock to start the season in NY, especially after last seasons debacle. Othmann looks like he would make a bigger impact right out of the gate.

Hmm...Kreider always seemed more the buggerer than buggeree. Guess you never know.

I thought we only got a 3rd and a 5th, but it actually was two 3rds and a 5th. Great deal for a guy who was going to become a UFA a few weeks later

Seriously though, we call Breadman a wizard. But, maybe it's Drury with the real magic!

It is still TBD who will wear the A's for the #NYR this season, according to head coach Gerard Gallant.

Interestingly, I don't see Matthew Robertson with this second practice group. The 6 D are Miller, Trouba, Jones, Schneider, Tinordi and Emberson. Have to wonder if he's already heading to Hartford. #NYR
